Sales Executive for West Bengal and NE States (Based in Siliguri)

Koppert is looking for passionate and self-motivated candidates with at least 2-5 years of relevant experience in the agri-input sector to join our sales and marketing team for developing Sales in the States of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, West Bengal and NE. 

Key responsibilities

  • Developing Sales channels for current products by appointing Dealers and Distributors across the states.
  • Organising sales promotion by creating awareness about the products by participating in exhibition, workshops, agriculture fairs, interaction with Agriculture and Horticulture departments/authorities?. (state/universities/other orgs)
  • Providing general technical knowledge on Koppert products to customers by Promoting the entire line of Koppert product offerings for the greenhouse vegetables market and open field crops with current and prospective customers.
  • Providing technical support to growers through regular client visits.
  • Achieving sales objectives for the assigned customer portfolio, products and crops in the territory by Meeting sales growth objectives as defined at the beginning of every year.Inform management in case of deviations from the business processes and deviations in the realization of the Sales plan.
  • Communicating with sales and technical manager his/her sales plan, which should include activities like visits to clients, acquisition of new customers, field trials, workshops and meetings with clients and colleagues.
  • Developing the market and managing existing and prospective clients by developing and maintaining accurate customer records detailing crops, acreage, products used, etc.
  • Providing accurate product forecasts by developing biological control programmes and technical protocols for assigned customers, including Koppert’s existing and new products, services and technologies, in coordination with the Technical Manager.
  • Supporting the sales realization process by informing the customer service department about product orders and supporting the order and invoice processes, when necessary.
  • Providing support in managing clients’ complaints according to procedure.


  • Graduation in Agriculture / Horticulture from reputed institute(s). Post-Graduation in Agri Business management will also be considered.
  • 2-5 years’ experience in Sales and marketing of Agriculture inputs like seeds, fertilizers, bio products, agricultural equipment and allied sector.

  • Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong work ethics
  • Computer literate
  • Willing to travel extensively and a flexible approach.


Salary is commensurate with the qualification and experience and will be on par with the industry standards. Annual CTC would be in the range of Rs. 3.5 lakhs to 4.5 lakhs.
